Lactic Acid Project Introduction
Continuous elimination & fermentation: The qualified glucose enters the fermentation system after the batching and continuous elimination system. Maintain the fermentation for a certain period of time. After the fermentation is finished, the fermentation mash enters the next process.
Filtration: The fermentation mash contains mycelium and some other impurities, which can be filtered out through the filter to obtain the qualified fermentation mash.
Concentration: The qualified fermentation mash enters the concentration system, and the appropriate concentration is obtained to enter the next section.
Acidification: After adjustment, the calcium lactate reacts with the added H2SO4 to obtain the crude lactic acid and CaSO4. CaSO4 is filtered through the belt vacuum filter and then sold to gypsum producers. The crude lactic acid goes into the following sections for refining.
Continuous ion exchange: The filtered lactic acid enters the continuous ion exchange system for the decolorization, deodorization, desalination, and remove the mixed impurities in the lactic acid through the cation and anion resin.
Membrane filtration: The clean lactic acid solution enters the membrane filtration combination system, and then the small impurities contained in the lactic acid are further removed, so as to get the refined lactic acid.
Concentration & purification: The refined lactic acid go through the evaporator system and purification system to obtain the qualified and suitable concentration of the final lactic acid product.
