It enters the high pressure hydrogenation reactor for the hydrogenation reaction after being concentrated by the evaporator. A small amount of the nickel catalyst added to the sorbitol solution is filtered after the reaction is finished and used again. Decolorization, filtration, and a continuous ion exchange system are used to remove contaminants and ions from the sorbitol solution so that it can fulfil its refining and purifying objectives. After concentration using an evaporator, the appropriate sorbitol was achieved.
