Cane sugar Project Introduction

Sugar cane crushing and iron removal: After cutting the sugar cane into the filaments and sheets by the tearing machine, the sugar cane material is beaten and flattened with the breaking machine. In the process of sugarcane pretreatment, there may be impurities such as iron, so the material must go through the iron remover to remove these impurities before entering the next section.


Squeezing: Extract sugar from sugar cane by squeezing the juice out of sugar cane by the squeezer. A certain amount of water is added during the pressing process to dilute and extract more of the sugar. The mixed sugar liquid extracted from the press was screened by roller sieve and then flowed into the sugar liquid box.


Heating, neutralization and precipitation: The mixed sugar, through heating, make the non-sugar part in the mixed sugar has a certain condensation, sterilization and defoaming effect. Calcium phosphate was produced by adding phosphoric acid and reacting with lime milk to adsorb anion and achieve decolorization effect. Evaporation & crystallization: The clean sugar enters the evaporator system, through evaporation, can obtain a certain concentration of sugar into the subsequent sugar crystallization section, so as to make the mixed crystal precipitation.


Separation: The sugar crystal and molasses are separated from the sugar crystal with molasses by the centrifuge. The molasses is returned to the crystallizer to increase the yield of cane sugar.


Cleaning and dissolving: Add water to dissolve the cane sugar crystal, then enters the subsequent refining section.


Filtration & Refinery: Through the filter, the impurities are filtered out first, and then through the ion exchange system for further refining and purification, so that the syrup can achieve the purpose of decalcification, decolorization and desalting.


Crystallization & separation: After the refined sugar is crystallized, the cane sugar crystals mixed with mother liquor are obtained. After high-speed centrifugation separation, the mother liquor is separated, and the clean wet crystal is entered into the later drying section.


Drying: The moisture of the wet crystal after centrifugation separation is relatively high, so it needs to be dried and cooled to get the cane sugar crystal that meets the requirements.
